2010. It’s a new year. It’s a new decade. More importantly, it’s a new season.
Reyes is back. Beltran is back(in 12 weeks). Johan, K-Rod, we’ve added Bay, maybe our pitching gets back to it’s paper form. Maybe not.
Nah, we’ll do just fine…I know it!!
Last year was a fluke, a ton of baseball fans know it. I never even really heard much Philly smack either last year. I moved to Wyomissing, PA and wear my Mets gear all the time and no one makes a sound.
Why? Cause they know better.
I think the NL East thought it was a great year because the Mets were out of it. Could you imagine our lineup healthy and at full strength? Pfft, it could have been another Subway Series! The Phillies were no march for the Yankees, but the Mets, the Mets at full strength would have been.
