Dickey is 0-4 in his last six starts. Is it early season rust? Does he need to start making a couple of adjustments? I have no idea but according to his interview yesterday he needs to stay the course. In this case I do have to concur.

In baseball you need pitching, but the Mets best era is 4.50 which belongs to Dickey. You start to think maybe the Mets should change a few things, get the pitchers trying anything else but you know it’s the wrong answer.

After a month of baseball I’ve been struggling to watch the games. I do my best to catch them when I can, but I have to admit it’s only when I really want to. I don’t care who you are, you hate watching your team lose. You hate seeing them in last place and you hate seeing the bad baseball on the field.

But you have to stay the course – and that goes for me as well.

If Dickey sticks to his game plan, he will get better – it’s only natural. I personally need to give these guys a shot at doing what they are paid to do and I plan on watching these games a lot more than I have been. I just hope Wright starts to wake up as well, but we’ll save that for another day.
